With 42 years of trial experience, Leonard’s practice focuses on all types of high-profile tort matters, with an acclaimed specialty in transportation cases involving the trucking industry and logistics. Ed is a trial lawyer. He has tried more than 95 civil cases to verdict throughout the State of California. He is also well-known for his involvement in a trial of a repressed memory medical malpractice case that later became the subject of numerous publications and is frequently referenced today in medical, psychological, and neurological texts.
“We welcome a trial attorney of Ed’s caliber and expertise to our growing Orange County office, where we have added three new lateral partners so far this year,” said Tyson & Mendes Strategic Managing Partner Robert Tyson. “With an avalanche of jury trials coming to Southern California and beyond as trial courts begin to restart operations, veteran trial lawyers of Ed’s caliber are in high demand. Ed’s phenomenal track record successfully defending transportation cases is an invaluable asset to our trucking and logistics clients and further strengthens our bench strength defending trucking and other transportation companies against wrongful death claims, catastrophic loss, and injury claims.”
