Valentine Vidal
Valentine Vidal (She/They) Valentine “Val” Vidal is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense, construction defect, complex litigation, contract-based actions, and general liability.
Prior to joining Tyson Mendes in Seattle, Mx. Vidal practiced in Nevada, representing individuals and businesses in Las Vegas and in federal district courts. Mx. Vidal finds fact-based legal arguments to be extremely successful in positioning cases for dismissal and early settlement, including multiple instances of successfully limiting clients’ potential liability and extracting clients from litigation before trial—saving her clients millions in potential losses collectively. Mx. Vidal has experience before the Nevada District Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. She is adept at stepping into large cases late in the litigation process and providing extensive evaluations and engaging in negotiation and arbitration. Mx. Vidal is barred in both Washington State and Nevada.
Mx. Vidal obtained her J.D. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2016, where she was inducted into the Legal Honors Society of Phi Delta Phi and served as exchequer. She obtained her B.A. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2013, where she focused on social ethics and logical reasoning.
In her free time, Mx. Vidal enjoys spending time hiking and exploring Mt. Baker and Snoqualmie National Forest. She also enjoys reading, coffee, and skydiving.
