Saleem Belbahri

Saleem Belbahri is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office. His practice focuses on complex, high-value, multi-party litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury and civil litigation.

Mr. Belbahri brings 11 years of litigation experience to the firm. His career began as a deputy public defender, where he developed a strong foundation in criminal defense, handling high-stakes cases and managing rigorous investigation strategies. Mr. Belbahri’s broad litigation experience includes representing clients in both state and federal courts, where he has a reputation for delivering strategic defenses and successful outcomes. He has achieved significant victories for his clients throughout his career. These successes include securing high-value settlements in intricate civil litigation cases, obtaining summary judgments that shielded clients from substantial liabilities, and achieving favorable dismissals in complex, multi-party lawsuits. Additionally, he has skillfully navigated contentious negotiations, saving clients from costly court battles and providing effective resolutions in high-pressure scenarios. He is licensed to practice in California. He also holds a CIPP/US certification, highlighting his expertise in privacy law.

Mr. Belbahri obtained his J.D. from John F. Kennedy School of Law. He obtained his B.A. from San Francisco State University.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Belbahri enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying nature.
