Ariel Gozzip
Ariel Gozzip is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office.
Before joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Gozzip worked with law firms and legal departments domestically and abroad. As a legal intern at an international technology company in Silicon Valley, her work focused on employment law, commercial contracts, privacy, and intellectual property. She provided support on a spectrum of legal matters, including revising company policies during the pandemic. Ms. Gozzip worked as a legal extern at a law firm in Tokyo, where she conducted extensive legal research. She presented her work on the litigation of a global intellectual property dispute to Japanese partners and associates, emphasizing the collaborative nature of legal practice within a multi-jurisdictional context. Ms. Gozzip also dedicated time during law school to the Santa Clara Law Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic and the Entrepreneurs’ Legal Advising Clinic.
Ms. Gozzip obtained her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was a member of the Tech Edge J.D. Program, the Center for Law and Global Policy’s International Business Program, and the Privacy Law Student Organization. She served as the Senior Articles Editor of the International Law Journal. Prior to law school, she obtained her B.A. in International Studies with a double minor in Asian and Japanese studies from the University of San Francisco.
In her free time, Ariel enjoys attending concerts, learning languages, and traveling.
